PTC and Rockwell Automation announced Factory Insights as a Service, a turnkey cloud solution that enables manufacturers to achieve unprecedented impact, speed, and scale with their digital transformation initiatives. Factory Insights as a Service includes many of the key product components of PTC and Rockwell Automation's FactoryTalk InnovationSuite, including PTC's industry-leading ThingWorx, Kepware, and Vuforia products, optimized for OT data coming from Rockwell Automation's best-in-class automation and information offerings.

Software intelligence company Dynatrace announced it has extended its advanced observability capabilities to cloud and data center environments running on the Linux ARM platform. "In modern IT environments, containers, cloud applications, and microservices can come and go in seconds. Teams can't waste time attempting to maintain observability," said Steve Tack, SVP of Product Management, Dynatrace.

Red Hat announced that Ingram Micro has been appointed as distributor for the Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider program supporting ASEAN countries and Hong Kong. As part of the program, Ingram Micro will work with Red Hat to qualify, recruit and onboard partners as Certified Cloud and Service Providers.

ScaleGrid's MySQL, PostgreSQL and Redis solutions on DigitalOcean are competitively priced starting at just $15/GB, the same as DigitalOcean's Managed Database solution, but offer on average 30% more storage for the same price.

Elliptic Labs announced it has joined the AI Partner Program from Arm, the global semiconductor IP provider. By joining the Arm AI Partner Program, Elliptic Labs will participate in co-marketing efforts with Arm to accelerate the adoption of Elliptic Labs' capabilities inside Arm's ecosystem.

SS8 Networks announced its interoperability with the latest Affirmed Networks virtual Evolved Packet Core. SS8's goal is to provide communication service providers with the lowest barrier of entry to the next generation of lawful intelligence.

The Redmond giant has posted fixes for CVE-listed bugs in its latest monthly security update, including 23 that allow for remote code execution. One of the bugs that was of particular interest to researchers was CVE-2020-1299, a remote code execution issue that arises when trying to load Windows shortcut files.
