Mobile app developers accused by Facebook of deploying "Malicious" SDKs to scrape users' data from the social network have hit back, telling London's High Court that nearly all their apps were "Not capable" of harvesting data from Facebook itself. Haltas has now hit back, claiming that all but three of his apps couldn't possibly scrape data from Facebook because they didn't use the Login with Facebook feature.

Computer misuse crimes across England and Wales have declined over the past year - with credential theft attacks remaining more or less flat in the pre-COVID reporting period. The Crime Survey of England and Wales recorded a total of 876,000 incidents of computer misuse affecting 743,000 adults across the UK over the past year, a figure that was down by 9 per cent on 2019's total of 966,000 incidents.

It's not surprising that someone would eventually suggest blockchain could solve all of Wikipedia's security problems. As Krawisz said on Twitter, "It would be so cheap to record enough information about all Wikipedia interactions on the [Bitcoin] blockchain that you could probably eliminate all possible child porn distribution on it for very low fees. Think of the savings!".
