Cisco has patched multiple critical security vulnerabilities impacting its RV Series routers that could be weaponized to elevate privileges and execute arbitrary code on affected systems, while also warning of the existence of proof-of-concept exploit code targeting some of these bugs. Three of the 15 flaws, tracked as CVE-2022-20699, CVE-2022-20700, and CVE-2022-20707, carry the highest CVSS rating of 10.0, and affect its Small Business RV160, RV260, RV340, and RV345 Series routers.

SonicWall has fixed a handful of vulnerabilities affecting its SMA 100 series appliances and is urging organizations to implement the patches as soon as possible. Although there's currently no evidence of these bugs being exploited in active attacks, threat actors have been known to target these appliances in the past by leveraging known and zero-day vulnerabilities.

Network security company SonicWall has addressed a critical security vulnerability affecting its Secure Mobile Access 100 series appliances that can permit remote, unauthenticated attackers to gain administrator access on targeted devices remotely. Tracked as CVE-2021-20034, the arbitrary file deletion flaw is rated 9.1 out of a maximum of 10 on the CVSS scoring system, and could allow an adversary to bypass path traversal checks and delete any file, causing the devices to reboot to factory default settings.

SIGA OT Solutions, an Israel-based company that specializes in operational technology cybersecurity solutions, on Monday announced raising $8.1 million in a Series B funding round. The latest investment, which brings the total raised by the firm to $15 million, was led by Dutch investment firm PureTerra Ventures, with participation from Israeli venture fund SIBF, Moore Capital, and Germany-based industrial solutions provider Phoenix Contact.

Connected device security provider Finite State on Monday announced that it has raised $30 million in Series B funding. To date, the company has raised $49.5 million.

D-Link Corporation announced their latest EAGLE PRO AI product series at the D-Link Product Launch Conference. By developing products with AI Technology that can recognize network problems and adapt accordingly, D-Link optimizes the performance of home networks.

UfiSpace launched its S9600 series open aggregation routers based on Broadcom's Qumran2c silicon. "With our previous open disaggregated solutions for the cell site, core and edge networks, service providers were able to foster innovation, reduce vendor lock-in and obtain better TCO synergies within their network," says UfiSpace CEO, Vincent Ho. "We are excited to provide our customers with even more benefits by enabling open disaggregation for their aggregation network as well."

SolCyber has emerged from stealth with $20 million in Series A funding from ForgePoint Capital, claiming to be the first modern MSSP for the mid-market. Venture funding for an MSSP is not unknown, but not common.

Risk and compliance solutions provider LogicGate this week announced that it has raised $113 million in a Series C funding round, bringing the total raised by the company to $156 million. The funding round was led by growth equity firm PSG, with participation from existing investor Greenspring Associates.

Cybersecurity firm raises $30 Million to support growth of its AI-based DNS threat protection system. Washington, DC-based DNS security firm DNSFilter has closed a $30 million Series A funding round led by Insight Partners, and supported by original seed investor, Arthur Ventures.
