Network firewalls are a critical line of defense in securing enterprise networks and protecting their vital data. The rapid transition to cloud infrastructure makes managing networks quite complex and cumbersome, leaving security and information technology teams with the overwhelming task of determining proper restrictions and access.

The SEC on Wednesday announced it charged the investment management firms with deficiencies in their identity theft prevention systems. The SEC said its investigators found that, between January 2017 and October 2019, the three firms' identity theft prevention programs did not include "Reasonable policies and procedures" to, among other things, detect red flags indicating likely identity theft, and then prevent and mitigate this risk.

Spain's national police say they have arrested two former government workers suspected of breaking into the computer network of the country's radioactivity alert system and disabling more than a third of its sensors. Microsoft has released the first preview build of Windows 10, version 22H2, to Windows Insiders for enterprise testing before the general release later this year. "Commercial devices configured for the Release Preview Channel via the Windows Insider Program Settings page or via Windows Update for Business policy, whether through Microsoft Intune or through Group Policy, will automatically be offered Windows 10, version 22H2 as an optional update."
