After the release of two Windows 10 feature updates and numerous cumulative updates, Microsoft has still not fixed a bug causing Windows Defrag to TRIM non-SSD drives. In May 2020, Microsoft released Windows 10 2004, the May 2020 Update, and introduced two bugs causing SSD drives to be defragged too often and for the TRIM operation to be attempted on non-SSD drives.

Microsoft has released the KB4586819 non-security preview cumulative update for Windows 10 versions 1809, 1903, and 1909, with fixes for game crash issues and for USB 3.0 hubs causing connected devices to stop working. Windows 10 users who install the KB4586819 update may experience issues with system and user certificates getting lost when updating from Windows 10 1809 to later versions using outdated update media.

If users are upgrading from Windows 10 1909 or older, then Windows 10 20H2 will be installed as a full update, which can only be rolled back within 10 days of being installed. How you upgraded to Windows 10 20H2 determines how you can uninstall and roll back to a previous version of Windows.

Microsoft has Windows 10 preview build 20262 to Insiders on the Dev channel with mostly bug fixes. Windows Insiders can download Build 20206 right now by going into Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update and then checking for new updates.

Microsoft has resolved a known issue leading to missing system and user certificates after updating managed Windows 10 systems using outdated installation media. The lost Windows 10 certificates issue impacts client and server platforms in managed environments.

After upgrading to the Windows 10 October 2020 update, a bug is not allowing users to perform in-place upgrades using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool. As Windows Latest reported, since the Windows 10 October 2020 Update release, users are no longer able to select the choice to keep their data, which effectively breaks in-place upgrades.

More recently, the software giant has added a new modern disk management tool to the Settings, and the feature is already live for Insiders. The modern solution is called "Manage Disks and Volumes" and Microsoft calls it a modern take on Windows 10's current disk management tool.

Support for streaming and using Android apps on Windows 10 from supported Samsung devices was announced by Microsoft in August.

Microsoft has released a new batch of Intel microcode updates for Windows 10 20H2, 2004, 1909, and older versions to fix new hardware vulnerabilities discovered in Intel CPUs. When Intel finds bugs in their CPUs, they release microcode updates that allow operating systems to patch the behavior of the CPU to fix, or at least mitigate, the bug.

It's November 10 and Patch Tuesday, and the first batch of security updates or 'B' updates are now available for all supported versions of Windows 10 including version 20H2.
