Las Vegas Reports Cyber Attack; Extent of Breach Unclear

Las Vegas officials said Tuesday that that a cyber attack breached the city's computer systems, but it wasn't immediately clear if any sensitive data was compromised. City officials were alerted to the breach around 4:30 a.m., city spokesman David Riggleman told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

A group claiming to be hackers from Iran breached the website of a little-known US government agency on Saturday and posted messages vowing revenge for Washington's killing of top military commander Qasem Soleimani. The website of the Federal Depository Library Program was replaced with a page titled "Iranian Hackers!" that displayed images of Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the Iranian flag.

Data Breach Affects 63 Landry’s Restaurants

Dining giant Landry's disclosed a data breach, Thursday, warning that malware had infected its order-entry systems to steal customers' payment card information. Landry's, which owns over 600 popular American restaurants across 35 states, such as Del Frisco's Grill, McCormick & Schmick's, Rainforest Café and more, said that 63 of these restaurants were impacted by malware that targeted customers' payment card data.
