HID Global announced the HID HydrantID Account Certificate Manager solution that eliminates manual, risk-prone processes for tracking, installing and renewing privately-issued as well as trusted Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security certificates.

"HydrantID ACM solves today's difficult digital certificate lifecycle management problems by providing one secure and convenient cloud-based platform for organizational teams to easily access private Certificate Authority services managed by HydrantID on their behalf," said Brad Jarvis, Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Identity & Access Management Business Area, with HID Global.

HID HydrantID ACM software is unique in supporting both trusted SSL certificates and, for greater chain-of-trust control, hosted private Intermediate Certificate Authorities-all under a single annual subscription fee.

This makes it easier for organizations to add commercial certificate utilities such as Automatic Certificate Management Environment clients to the HydrantID platform or embed them in enterprise platforms such as Microsoft Intune using native application programming interfaces.

Automation for any device: Leverages core operating system components and standards-based protocols for certificate lifecycle automation and integrates out-of-the-box with Active Directory Certificate Services enterprise tools.

Streamlined certificate management: Single Sign On, Multi-factor Authentication, Comprehensive Reporting, Granular Access Control with a lightweight, browser-based self-service certificate portal and workflow controls to streamline certificate lifecycle management.
