CrowdStrike, a leader in cloud-delivered endpoint protection, announced the appointment of Michael Sentonas as the company's new chief technology officer effective immediately.

With over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, Sentonas is a seasoned leader who in his previous role at CrowdStrike was responsible for developing and executing CrowdStrike's overall technology strategy.

Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Sentonas served as chief technology and strategy officer, Security Connected at Intel Security.

"Mike's deep industry knowledge and strong performance as a leader across multiple strategic functions within CrowdStrike position him well for success in his new role, which will include close collaboration with our engineering and products organization that is led by Amol Kulkarni, chief product officer."
