Thales announced a new collaboration with Google Cloud that will accelerate the ability of enterprises to safely migrate sensitive data between public cloud, hybrid and private IT infrastructures. Building on a multi-year history of innovation around a variety of cloud security initiatives, Thales and Google Cloud will now empower customers to leverage the full potential of Google Cloud technology for sensitive workloads while gaining the external key management needed to control and secure data across hybrid cloud IT environments.

Authentic8 announced a partnership with Google Cloud to expand availability of Silo across Google Cloud's infrastructure with 1-click procurement. Authentic8 is now a Google Cloud Technology Partner providing security, and Authentic8 gains access to Google Cloud's ability to run compliant web-based workflows at the highest levels of civilian classification.

CyrusOne announced new options for direct connectivity to Google Cloud, with the addition of five new direct on-ramps in Aurora, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and the newly operational Council Bluffs facility. As part of Google Cloud Interconnect, the new direct connect locations provide CyrusOne customers with simple, cost-effective solutions for creating hybrid cloud environments tailored to their specific business needs.

Google Cloud announced it has been selected by ABB to further expand the cloud footprint of its Information System services. The Swiss-headquartered global technology leader has chosen Google Cloud as part of the organization's 'Rationalizing IT Operations' initiative, which seeks to further increase the scalability and resilience of its infrastructure services to all ABB businesses.

Qualys announced it has worked with Google Cloud to provide out-of-the-box support for Google Cloud Artifact Registry for its Container Security solution. Qualys Container Security scanning will assess all images for software inventory, vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, and provide a unified view across multiple Google Cloud regions.

Onix announced it has signed an expanded agreement with Google Cloud to accelerate its growth and grow customer adoption of Google Cloud products and solutions. Under this agreement, Onix will leverage its world-class services team to drive the adoption of Google Cloud with its current and future customers.

Google Cloud's global sales force will now collaborate with Cysiv to help customers simplify the security of their cloud workloads. Security is a shared responsibility, and Cysiv's capabilities complement Google Cloud's secure infrastructure, storage, services and communications, with important measures that will further ensure customer's sensitive data, workloads and IT environment are adequately protected from cyberattacks and insider threats, while meeting compliance requirements.

Six percent of all Google Cloud buckets are misconfigured and left open to the public internet, for anyone to access their contents. In a survey of 2,064 Google Cloud buckets by Comparitech, 131 of them were found to be vulnerable to unauthorized access by users who could list, download and/or upload files.

Tanium has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to help organizations accelerate the transformation to distributed business operations. "With Tanium and Google Cloud, customers don't have to make difficult tradeoffs between the quality, breadth, timeliness, or storage cost of their security telemetry," said Sunil Potti, General Manager and Vice President of Cloud Security at Google Cloud.

AppViewX announced its partnership with Google Cloud to support its newly announced Google Cloud Certificate Authority Service with AppViewX's Certificate Lifecycle Management and Automation product, CERT+. This integration enables businesses to simplify deployment of private CAs, enabling end-to-end automation of enterprise infrastructure, DevOps and IoT. Google Cloud and AppViewX's integration primarily focuses on securing the growing number of digital identities with a robust and future-proof PKI system, allowing users to communicate with DevOps tools and CI/CD toolchains.
