Microsoft has reminded customers that systems running Windows 11 21H2 will be force-updated before the end of servicing next month.
Since Windows 11 21H2 devices will no longer receive security updates starting October 10, 2023, they will be updated to Windows 11 22H2 to continue receiving the latest updates, security updates, and improvements.
"To help keep you protected and productive, Windows Update will automatically initiate a feature update for Windows 11 consumer devices and non-managed business devices that are at, or within several months of reaching, end of servicing," Microsoft said on Thursday.
You can check the Windows 11 specs, features, and computer requirements page or use the PC Health Check app to see if your system qualifies for the latest Windows 11 feature update.
"In January 2023, Home and Pro consumer and non-managed business devices running Windows 11, version 21H2 started to automatically update to version 22H2," Microsoft says on the Windows release health dashboard.
