Using Windows 10 apps, you get an almost limitless number of ways to customize and personalize the operating system to meet your requirements.
In this article, we highlight three apps that you can download for free that allow you to customize the appearance of the Windows 10 Desktop, Search and flyouts.
ModernFlyouts is a new Microsoft Store app that aims to replace the built-in flyouts with a Fluent Design-based alternative.
Using ModernFlyouts app, you can modernize the appearance of volume flyout, airplane mode flyouts, brightness flyouts, and caps/numb lock alerts too.
The ModernFlyouts app will be running on top of the built-in controls, which means the built-in flyouts won't be removed or disabled permenately.
Our second favourite app is 'Lively Wallpaper', which is also open-source.
