A new Microsoft job listing states that the OS developer wants to show customers that "Windows is BACK" with a user interface refresh for Windows 10.

According to the job posting, Microsoft is looking for a Senior Engineer to work with the Windows Core User Experience team to "Orchestrate and deliver a sweeping visual rejuvenation of Windows experiences."

"The Windows Core User Experiences team is responsible for driving new innovation for the marquee user interfaces used by billions of Windows and Surface Hub customers around the world, and we're looking for a collaborative, inclusive and customer obsessed Senior engineer to help us build the future of Windows Expeiences."

"On this team, you'll work with our key platform, Surface, and OEM partners to orchestrate and deliver a sweeping visual rejuvenation of Windows experiences to signal to our customers that Windows is BACK and ensure that Windows is considered the best user OS experience for customers," Microsoft shared in a job position description, as shown below.

In October 2020, Windows Central reported that Microsoft is planning a user interface and visualization refresh for Windows 10.

Microsoft has not officially announced this UI project, but Windows Central's sources state that the design refresh is expected to be completed by the 2021 holidays.
