Managed Security Services provider Secureworks, announced on Wednesday that it has agreed to acquire acquire Delve Laboratories, a company that provides a vulnerability management and asset discovery platform.
According to SecurityWeek's research, Delve has raised roughly $1.5 million in Seed funding.
Checking all the buzzwords, Delve describes that its SaaS-based automated vulnerability management platform intelligently prioritizes vulnerabilities at scale and in context, and is powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide customers with actionable data on vulnerabilities across their network, endpoints and cloud that are at a higher risk of being exploited.
Secureworks will start selling the Delive platform as part of its portfolio this quarter, and will also integrate Delve technology into the Secureworks Red Cloak Platform and TDR application.
"The acquisition of Delve will enrich Secureworks' intelligence, further differentiate our end-to-end capabilities, and accelerate our transformation to deliver software with security at its core."
