Security News > 2024 > March > Best of KB4-CON 2024: The State of Phishing, Hacking and Security Awareness Training
We know what went on at security awareness training vendor KnowBe4's seventh annual KB4-CON user conference in Florida.
In this feature, written by Drew Robb for TechRepublic Premium, you can get to know about KnowBe4's ambitions to weave AI into its product portfolio, and how AI, voice cloning and ChatGPT have changed the way nefarious individuals hack.
The highlight of the entire KnowBe4 show was a talk by Rachel Tobac, CEO & ethical hacker at SocialProof Security.
Not only did she discuss the ease with which people can be hacked, but she also provided filmed and live demonstrations of how she hoodwinks people into giving her credentials and infiltrating their accounts within a few minutes.
"AI has accelerated the pace of hacking, provided criminals with new and better tools and has significantly increased the risk of attacks," said Tobac.
"Two minutes of a voice is all I need to create a believable voice clone."
