Microsoft has released the Windows 11 KB5007215 cumulative update to fix security vulnerabilities and bugs introduced in previous versions.
KB5007215 is a mandatory cumulative update containing security updates, performance improvements, and bug fixes for Windows 11 21H2. You can install this update by going to Start > Settings > Windows Update and clicking on 'Check for Updates.
Windows 11 users can also manually download and install the KB5007215 update from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
After installing the KB5007215 update, Windows 11 will have its build number changed to 22000.
This update also includes a fix, previously released in Friday's OOB update, that replaces an expired certificate preventing built-in features from working.
Microsoft also states that they made changes to the servicing stack to resolve bugs or issues preventing Windows updates from properly being installed.
