FutureVault announced it has appointed John Shackleton, former OpenText CEO, as the company's Chief Executive Officer.
As former President and CEO of OpenText Corporation, he led the company's growth from $60 million to $1.3 billion in revenue, resulting in the company becoming a world-leading independent provider of Enterprise Content Management.
Prior to OpenText, Shackleton held several executive-level positions at well-recognized technology companies including Oracle, Sybase and Platinum Technology.
"John is a legendary leader in the technology world, particularly in the document and content management space," commented FutureVault Co-Chairs, G Scott Paterson and John D. Orr.
Orr, the company's CEO from June 2017 until April 2021, will take on the role of Co-Chair of the FutureVault Board of Directors alongside co-founder and Executive Chair, G Scott Paterson.
In addition to leading FutureVault's day-to-day operations, Shackleton will play a critical role in driving the strategic vision and direction for the company as it turns its focus to the next stage of growth and strategic partnerships.
