Update December 14, 7:20 EDT. According to Google's service status page, the outage is affecting all Google services.

Update December 14, 7:40 EDT. Google has stated the outage has been resolved for some users with the following statement on their status pages.

Today, at 3.47AM PT Google experienced an authentication system outage for approximately 45 minutes due to an internal storage quota issue.
