Google is shutting down its 3D model sharing site Poly in 2021 to focus their resources on building AR experiences.
Google Poly allows designers to upload their 3D models to a gallery that can be used by other members in their projects.
Google told BleepingComputer they are shutting down Poly to shifting resources towards creating helpful AR experiences.
"We're shifting resources so we can continue investing heavily in helpful AR experiences - like Google Lens, AR walking navigation in Maps, and AR in Search - that use the smartphone camera to bridge the digital and physical worlds, helping people do more with what they see and learn about the world around them," a Google spokesperson told BleepingComputer.
If you have assets uploaded to Google Poly, you can bulk download them using Google Takeout.
