The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) today confirmed in a statement to Arabian Business that it had asked the two UAE telcos, Etisalat and du, to restrict BlackBerry Enterprise Services (BES) to "qualifying organisations" and not to private individuals. "Qualifying organisations must have a valid UAE trade licence, and a minimum of 20 or more Enterprise accounts under the company ownership," the TRA statement said. "Accordingly, Enterprise Services are to be made available to qualifying organizations only and not to private individuals."
