2025-01-15 | CVE-2024-57900 | Use After Free vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ila: serialize calls to nf_register_net_hooks() syzbot found a race in ila_add_mapping() [1] commit 031ae72825ce ("ila: call nf_unregister_net_hooks() sooner") attempted to fix a similar issue. Looking at the syzbot repro, we have concurrent ILA_CMD_ADD commands. Add a mutex to make sure at most one thread is calling nf_register_net_hooks(). 2025-01-11 | CVE-2024-57850 | Unspecified vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jffs2: Prevent rtime decompress memory corruption The rtime decompression routine does not fully check bounds during the entirety of the decompression pass and can corrupt memory outside the decompression buffer if the compressed data is corrupted. | 7.8 |
2025-01-11 | CVE-2024-50051 | Use After Free vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: mpc52xx: Add cancel_work_sync before module remove If we remove the module which will call mpc52xx_spi_remove it will free 'ms' through spi_unregister_controller. while the work ms->work will be used. | 7.8 |
2025-01-08 | CVE-2024-56786 | Unspecified vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: put bpf_link's program when link is safe to be deallocated In general, BPF link's underlying BPF program should be considered to be reachable through attach hook -> link -> prog chain, and, pessimistically, we have to assume that as long as link's memory is not safe to free, attach hook's code might hold a pointer to BPF program and use it. As such, it's not (generally) correct to put link's program early before waiting for RCU GPs to go through. | 5.5 |
2025-01-06 | CVE-2024-56759 | Use After Free vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix use-after-free when COWing tree bock and tracing is enabled When a COWing a tree block, at btrfs_cow_block(), and we have the tracepoint trace_btrfs_cow_block() enabled and preemption is also enabled (CONFIG_PREEMPT=y), we can trigger a use-after-free in the COWed extent buffer while inside the tracepoint code. | 7.8 |
2025-01-06 | CVE-2024-56764 | Use After Free vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ublk: detach gendisk from ublk device if add_disk() fails Inside ublk_abort_requests(), gendisk is grabbed for aborting all inflight requests. | 7.8 |
2025-01-06 | CVE-2024-56765 | Use After Free vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/pseries/vas: Add close() callback in vas_vm_ops struct The mapping VMA address is saved in VAS window struct when the paste address is mapped. | 7.8 |
2024-12-27 | CVE-2024-56600 | Use After Free vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: inet6: do not leave a dangling sk pointer in inet6_create() sock_init_data() attaches the allocated sk pointer to the provided sock object. | 7.8 |
2024-12-27 | CVE-2024-56601 | Use After Free vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: inet: do not leave a dangling sk pointer in inet_create() sock_init_data() attaches the allocated sk object to the provided sock object. | 7.8 |
2024-12-27 | CVE-2024-56602 | Use After Free vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ieee802154: do not leave a dangling sk pointer in ieee802154_create() sock_init_data() attaches the allocated sk object to the provided sock object. | 7.8 |
