2025-04-18 | CVE-2025-40114 | Improper Validation of Array Index vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: light: Add check for array bounds in veml6075_read_int_time_ms The array contains only 5 elements, but the index calculated by veml6075_read_int_time_index can range from 0 to 7, which could lead to out-of-bounds access. | 7.8 |
2025-04-16 | CVE-2025-23134 | Improper Locking vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: timer: Don't take register_mutex with copy_from/to_user() The infamous mmap_lock taken in copy_from/to_user() can be often problematic when it's called inside another mutex, as they might lead to deadlocks. In the case of ALSA timer code, the bad pattern is with guard(mutex)(®ister_mutex) that covers copy_from/to_user() -- which was mistakenly introduced at converting to guard(), and it had been carefully worked around in the past. This patch fixes those pieces simply by moving copy_from/to_user() out of the register mutex lock again. | 5.5 |
2025-04-16 | CVE-2025-23136 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thermal: int340x: Add NULL check for adev Not all devices have an ACPI companion fwnode, so adev might be NULL. This is similar to the commit cd2fd6eab480 ("platform/x86: int3472: Check for adev == NULL"). Add a check for adev not being set and return -ENODEV in that case to avoid a possible NULL pointer deref in int3402_thermal_probe(). Note, under the same directory, int3400_thermal_probe() has such a check. [ rjw: Subject edit, added Fixes: ] | 5.5 |
2025-04-16 | CVE-2025-23137 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cpufreq/amd-pstate: Add missing NULL ptr check in amd_pstate_update Check if policy is NULL before dereferencing it in amd_pstate_update. | 5.5 |
2025-04-16 | CVE-2025-22032 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mt76: mt7921: fix kernel panic due to null pointer dereference Address a kernel panic caused by a null pointer dereference in the `mt792x_rx_get_wcid` function. | 5.5 |
2025-04-16 | CVE-2025-22033 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: Don't call NULL in do_compat_alignment_fixup() do_alignment_t32_to_handler() only fixes up alignment faults for specific instructions; it returns NULL otherwise (e.g. | 5.5 |
2025-04-16 | CVE-2025-22036 | Use After Free vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: exfat: fix random stack corruption after get_block When get_block is called with a buffer_head allocated on the stack, such as do_mpage_readpage, stack corruption due to buffer_head UAF may occur in the following race condition situation. <CPU 0> <CPU 1> mpage_read_folio <<bh on stack>> do_mpage_readpage exfat_get_block bh_read __bh_read get_bh(bh) submit_bh wait_on_buffer ... end_buffer_read_sync __end_buffer_read_notouch unlock_buffer <<keep going>> ... ... ... ... <<bh is not valid out of mpage_read_folio>> . . another_function <<variable A on stack>> put_bh(bh) atomic_dec(bh->b_count) * stack corruption here * This patch returns -EAGAIN if a folio does not have buffers when bh_read needs to be called. | 7.0 |
2025-04-16 | CVE-2025-22037 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: fix null pointer dereference in alloc_preauth_hash() The Client send malformed smb2 negotiate request. | 5.5 |
2025-04-16 | CVE-2025-22038 | Out-of-bounds Read vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: validate zero num_subauth before sub_auth is accessed Access psid->sub_auth[psid->num_subauth - 1] without checking if num_subauth is non-zero leads to an out-of-bounds read. This patch adds a validation step to ensure num_subauth != 0 before sub_auth is accessed. | 7.1 |
2025-04-16 | CVE-2025-22054 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arcnet: Add NULL check in com20020pci_probe() devm_kasprintf() returns NULL when memory allocation fails. | 5.5 |
