2025-02-27 CVE-2025-21723 NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: mpi3mr: Fix possible crash when setting up bsg fails If bsg_setup_queue() fails, the bsg_queue is assigned a non-NULL value. Consequently, in mpi3mr_bsg_exit(), the condition "if(!mrioc->bsg_queue)" will not be satisfied, preventing execution from entering bsg_remove_queue(), which could lead to the following crash: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 000000000000041c Call Trace: <TASK> mpi3mr_bsg_exit+0x1f/0x50 [mpi3mr] mpi3mr_remove+0x6f/0x340 [mpi3mr] pci_device_remove+0x3f/0xb0 device_release_driver_internal+0x19d/0x220 unbind_store+0xa4/0xb0 kernfs_fop_write_iter+0x11f/0x200 vfs_write+0x1fc/0x3e0 ksys_write+0x67/0xe0 do_syscall_64+0x38/0x80 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x78/0xe2

2025-02-26 CVE-2022-49280 Integer Underflow (Wrap or Wraparound) vulnerability in Linux Kernel
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: prevent underflow in nfssvc_decode_writeargs() Smatch complains: fs/nfsd/nfsxdr.c:341 nfssvc_decode_writeargs() warn: no lower bound on 'args->len' Change the type to unsigned to prevent this issue.

2025-02-26 CVE-2022-49055 NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Check for potential null return of kmalloc_array() As the kmalloc_array() may return null, the 'event_waiters[i].wait' would lead to null-pointer dereference. Therefore, it is better to check the return value of kmalloc_array() to avoid this confusion.

2025-02-26 CVE-2021-47641 Divide By Zero vulnerability in Linux Kernel
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: video: fbdev: cirrusfb: check pixclock to avoid divide by zero Do a sanity check on pixclock value to avoid divide by zero. If the pixclock value is zero, the cirrusfb driver will round up pixclock to get the derived frequency as close to maxclock as possible. Syzkaller reported a divide error in cirrusfb_check_pixclock. divide error: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN PTI CPU: 0 PID: 14938 Comm: cirrusfb_test Not tainted 5.15.0-rc6 #1 Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996), BIOS 1.11.0-2 RIP: 0010:cirrusfb_check_var+0x6f1/0x1260 Call Trace: fb_set_var+0x398/0xf90 do_fb_ioctl+0x4b8/0x6f0 fb_ioctl+0xeb/0x130 __x64_sys_ioctl+0x19d/0x220 do_syscall_64+0x3a/0x80 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x44/0xae

2025-02-12 CVE-2024-57951 Use After Free vulnerability in Linux Kernel
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hrtimers: Handle CPU state correctly on hotplug Consider a scenario where a CPU transitions from CPUHP_ONLINE to halfway through a CPU hotunplug down to CPUHP_HRTIMERS_PREPARE, and then back to CPUHP_ONLINE: Since hrtimers_prepare_cpu() does not run, cpu_base.hres_active remains set to 1 throughout.

2025-02-12 CVE-2025-21696 Unspecified vulnerability in Linux Kernel
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: clear uffd-wp PTE/PMD state on mremap() When mremap()ing a memory region previously registered with userfaultfd as write-protected but without UFFD_FEATURE_EVENT_REMAP, an inconsistency in flag clearing leads to a mismatch between the vma flags (which have uffd-wp cleared) and the pte/pmd flags (which do not have uffd-wp cleared).

2025-02-12 CVE-2025-21697 Unspecified vulnerability in Linux Kernel
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/v3d: Ensure job pointer is set to NULL after job completion After a job completes, the corresponding pointer in the device must be set to NULL.

2025-02-12 CVE-2025-21699 Unspecified vulnerability in Linux Kernel
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gfs2: Truncate address space when flipping GFS2_DIF_JDATA flag Truncate an inode's address space when flipping the GFS2_DIF_JDATA flag: depending on that flag, the pages in the address space will either use buffer heads or iomap_folio_state structs, and we cannot mix the two.

2025-02-10 CVE-2024-57950 Divide By Zero vulnerability in Linux Kernel
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Initialize denominator defaults to 1 [WHAT & HOW] Variables, used as denominators and maybe not assigned to other values, should be initialized to non-zero to avoid DIVIDE_BY_ZERO, as reported by Coverity. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vfio/platform: check the bounds of read/write syscalls count and offset are passed from user space and not checked, only offset is capped to 40 bits, which can be used to read/write out of bounds of the device.
