DATE | CVE | VULNERABILITY TITLE | RISK |
---|---|---|---|
2024-04-03 | CVE-2024-26704 | Double Free vulnerability in multiple products In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: fix double-free of blocks due to wrong extents moved_len In ext4_move_extents(), moved_len is only updated when all moves are successfully executed, and only discards orig_inode and donor_inode preallocations when moved_len is not zero. | 7.8 |
2024-04-03 | CVE-2024-26706 | Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: parisc: Fix random data corruption from exception handler The current exception handler implementation, which assists when accessing user space memory, may exhibit random data corruption if the compiler decides to use a different register than the specified register %r29 (defined in ASM_EXCEPTIONTABLE_REG) for the error code. | 5.5 |
2024-04-03 | CVE-2024-26707 | Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in multiple products In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: hsr: remove WARN_ONCE() in send_hsr_supervision_frame() Syzkaller reported [1] hitting a warning after failing to allocate resources for skb in hsr_init_skb(). | 5.5 |
2024-04-03 | CVE-2024-26714 | Unspecified vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: interconnect: qcom: sc8180x: Mark CO0 BCM keepalive The CO0 BCM needs to be up at all times, otherwise some hardware (like the UFS controller) loses its connection to the rest of the SoC, resulting in a hang of the platform, accompanied by a spectacular logspam. Mark it as keepalive to prevent such cases. | 5.5 |
2024-04-03 | CVE-2024-26715 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: dwc3: gadget: Fix NULL pointer dereference in dwc3_gadget_suspend In current scenario if Plug-out and Plug-In performed continuously there could be a chance while checking for dwc->gadget_driver in dwc3_gadget_suspend, a NULL pointer dereference may occur. Call Stack: CPU1: CPU2: gadget_unbind_driver dwc3_suspend_common dwc3_gadget_stop dwc3_gadget_suspend dwc3_disconnect_gadget CPU1 basically clears the variable and CPU2 checks the variable. Consider CPU1 is running and right before gadget_driver is cleared and in parallel CPU2 executes dwc3_gadget_suspend where it finds dwc->gadget_driver which is not NULL and resumes execution and then CPU1 completes execution. | 5.5 |
2024-04-03 | CVE-2024-26717 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: i2c-hid-of: fix NULL-deref on failed power up A while back the I2C HID implementation was split in an ACPI and OF part, but the new OF driver never initialises the client pointer which is dereferenced on power-up failures. | 5.5 |
2024-04-03 | CVE-2024-26718 | Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-crypt, dm-verity: disable tasklets Tasklets have an inherent problem with memory corruption. | 5.5 |
2024-04-03 | CVE-2024-26719 | Improper Locking vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nouveau: offload fence uevents work to workqueue This should break the deadlock between the fctx lock and the irq lock. This offloads the processing off the work from the irq into a workqueue. | 5.5 |
2024-04-03 | CVE-2024-26722 | Improper Locking vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: rt5645: Fix deadlock in rt5645_jack_detect_work() There is a path in rt5645_jack_detect_work(), where rt5645->jd_mutex is left locked forever. | 5.5 |
2024-04-03 | CVE-2024-26726 | Reachable Assertion vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: don't drop extent_map for free space inode on write error While running the CI for an unrelated change I hit the following panic with generic/648 on btrfs_holes_spacecache. assertion failed: block_start != EXTENT_MAP_HOLE, in fs/btrfs/extent_io.c:1385 ------------[ cut here ]------------ kernel BUG at fs/btrfs/extent_io.c:1385! invalid opcode: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP NOPTI CPU: 1 PID: 2695096 Comm: fsstress Kdump: loaded Tainted: G W 6.8.0-rc2+ #1 RIP: 0010:__extent_writepage_io.constprop.0+0x4c1/0x5c0 Call Trace: <TASK> extent_write_cache_pages+0x2ac/0x8f0 extent_writepages+0x87/0x110 do_writepages+0xd5/0x1f0 filemap_fdatawrite_wbc+0x63/0x90 __filemap_fdatawrite_range+0x5c/0x80 btrfs_fdatawrite_range+0x1f/0x50 btrfs_write_out_cache+0x507/0x560 btrfs_write_dirty_block_groups+0x32a/0x420 commit_cowonly_roots+0x21b/0x290 btrfs_commit_transaction+0x813/0x1360 btrfs_sync_file+0x51a/0x640 __x64_sys_fdatasync+0x52/0x90 do_syscall_64+0x9c/0x190 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x6e/0x76 This happens because we fail to write out the free space cache in one instance, come back around and attempt to write it again. | 5.5 |
