2024-09-11 | CVE-2024-45018 | Improper Initialization vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: initialise extack before use Fix missing initialisation of extack in flow offload. | 5.5 |
2024-09-11 | CVE-2024-45021 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: memcg_write_event_control(): fix a user-triggerable oops we are *not* guaranteed that anything past the terminating NUL is mapped (let alone initialized with anything sane). | 5.5 |
2024-09-11 | CVE-2024-45025 | Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fix bitmap corruption on close_range() with CLOSE_RANGE_UNSHARE copy_fd_bitmaps(new, old, count) is expected to copy the first count/BITS_PER_LONG bits from old->full_fds_bits[] and fill the rest with zeroes. | 5.5 |
2024-09-11 | CVE-2024-45026 | Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/dasd: fix error recovery leading to data corruption on ESE devices Extent Space Efficient (ESE) or thin provisioned volumes need to be formatted on demand during usual IO processing. The dasd_ese_needs_format function checks for error codes that signal the non existence of a proper track format. The check for incorrect length is to imprecise since other error cases leading to transport of insufficient data also have this flag set. This might lead to data corruption in certain error cases for example during a storage server warmstart. Fix by removing the check for incorrect length and replacing by explicitly checking for invalid track format in transport mode. Also remove the check for file protected since this is not a valid ESE handling case. | 7.8 |
2024-09-11 | CVE-2024-45028 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: mmc_test: Fix NULL dereference on allocation failure If the "test->highmem = alloc_pages()" allocation fails then calling __free_pages(test->highmem) will result in a NULL dereference. | 5.5 |
2024-09-06 | CVE-2023-52915 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: dvb-usb-v2: af9035: Fix null-ptr-deref in af9035_i2c_master_xfer In af9035_i2c_master_xfer, msg is controlled by user. | 5.5 |
2024-09-04 | CVE-2024-44974 | Use After Free vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mptcp: pm: avoid possible UaF when selecting endp select_local_address() and select_signal_address() both select an endpoint entry from the list inside an RCU protected section, but return a reference to it, to be read later on. | 7.8 |
2024-09-04 | CVE-2024-44977 | Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: Validate TA binary size Add TA binary size validation to avoid OOB write. (cherry picked from commit c0a04e3570d72aaf090962156ad085e37c62e442) | 7.8 |
2024-09-04 | CVE-2024-44982 | Incomplete Cleanup vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/dpu: cleanup FB if dpu_format_populate_layout fails If the dpu_format_populate_layout() fails, then FB is prepared, but not cleaned up. | 5.5 |
2024-09-04 | CVE-2024-44983 | Use of Uninitialized Resource vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: validate vlan header Ensure there is sufficient room to access the protocol field of the VLAN header, validate it once before the flowtable lookup. ===================================================== BUG: KMSAN: uninit-value in nf_flow_offload_inet_hook+0x45a/0x5f0 net/netfilter/nf_flow_table_inet.c:32 nf_flow_offload_inet_hook+0x45a/0x5f0 net/netfilter/nf_flow_table_inet.c:32 nf_hook_entry_hookfn include/linux/netfilter.h:154 [inline] nf_hook_slow+0xf4/0x400 net/netfilter/core.c:626 nf_hook_ingress include/linux/netfilter_netdev.h:34 [inline] nf_ingress net/core/dev.c:5440 [inline] | 7.1 |
