DATE | CVE | VULNERABILITY TITLE | RISK |
---|---|---|---|
2024-08-26 | CVE-2024-43911 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: fix NULL dereference at band check in starting tx ba session In MLD connection, link_data/link_conf are dynamically allocated. | 5.5 |
2024-08-26 | CVE-2024-43912 | Unspecified vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: nl80211: disallow setting special AP channel widths Setting the AP channel width is meant for use with the normal 20/40/... | 5.5 |
2024-08-26 | CVE-2024-43913 | Memory Leak vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme: apple: fix device reference counting Drivers must call nvme_uninit_ctrl after a successful nvme_init_ctrl. Split the allocation side out to make the error handling boundary easier to navigate. | 5.5 |
2024-08-26 | CVE-2024-43914 | Unspecified vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid5: avoid BUG_ON() while continue reshape after reassembling Currently, mdadm support --revert-reshape to abort the reshape while reassembling, as the test 07revert-grow. | 5.5 |
2024-08-26 | CVE-2024-44931 | Unspecified vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: prevent potential speculation leaks in gpio_device_get_desc() Userspace may trigger a speculative read of an address outside the gpio descriptor array. Users can do that by calling gpio_ioctl() with an offset out of range. Offset is copied from user and then used as an array index to get the gpio descriptor without sanitization in gpio_device_get_desc(). This change ensures that the offset is sanitized by using array_index_nospec() to mitigate any possibility of speculative information leaks. This bug was discovered and resolved using Coverity Static Analysis Security Testing (SAST) by Synopsys, Inc. | 5.5 |
2024-08-26 | CVE-2024-43884 | NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: MGMT: Add error handling to pair_device() hci_conn_params_add() never checks for a NULL value and could lead to a NULL pointer dereference causing a crash. Fixed by adding error handling in the function. | 5.5 |
2024-08-22 | CVE-2022-48926 | Unspecified vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: rndis: add spinlock for rndis response list There's no lock for rndis response list. | 7.8 |
2024-08-22 | CVE-2022-48928 | Memory Leak vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: adc: men_z188_adc: Fix a resource leak in an error handling path If iio_device_register() fails, a previous ioremap() is left unbalanced. Update the error handling path and add the missing iounmap() call, as already done in the remove function. | 5.5 |
2024-08-22 | CVE-2022-48930 | Improper Locking vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/ib_srp: Fix a deadlock Remove the flush_workqueue(system_long_wq) call since flushing system_long_wq is deadlock-prone and since that call is redundant with a preceding cancel_work_sync() | 5.5 |
2024-08-22 | CVE-2022-48931 | Race Condition vulnerability in Linux Kernel In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: configfs: fix a race in configfs_{,un}register_subsystem() When configfs_register_subsystem() or configfs_unregister_subsystem() is executing link_group() or unlink_group(), it is possible that two processes add or delete list concurrently. Some unfortunate interleavings of them can cause kernel panic. One of cases is: A --> B --> C --> D A <-- B <-- C <-- D delete list_head *B | delete list_head *C --------------------------------|----------------------------------- configfs_unregister_subsystem | configfs_unregister_subsystem unlink_group | unlink_group unlink_obj | unlink_obj list_del_init | list_del_init __list_del_entry | __list_del_entry __list_del | __list_del // next == C | next->prev = prev | | next->prev = prev prev->next = next | | // prev == B | prev->next = next Fix this by adding mutex when calling link_group() or unlink_group(), but parent configfs_subsystem is NULL when config_item is root. So I create a mutex configfs_subsystem_mutex. | 4.7 |
