The US Federal Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency believes that the only way to "Permanently shift the cybersecurity advantage to ICS cyber defenders is through collective action".
This is exactly what SANS is offering through its Industrial Control Systems Security resource centre.
One of the components on offer in the resource centre is the ICS Cybersecurity Field Manual Series which comprises three volumes, each focusing on a different aspect of ICS and security defence for control environments.
Also featured is the ICS515: ICS Visibility, Detection, and Response course, which will help ICS cyber defenders gain visibility and asset identification in Industrial Control System/Operational Technology networks.
The industrial security landscape is evolving rapidly as global enterprises ramp up the deployment of ICS technologies supporting next-generation industrial processes such as robotics and artificial intelligence.
The already high industrial security stakes are getting even higher.
