CloudMoyo and Terracon announce the completion of a data engineering initiative with the goal of modernizing the BI platform.

"Terracon's vision is to empower its employees with an intuitive self-service data framework that allows them to utilize analytics and data science applications," said Terracon Chief Information Officer, Jason Kephart.

"CloudMoyo is a strategic partner in our innovation journey. Successful implementation of Snowflake data architecture on the Microsoft Azure platform has created centralized access for all structured and semi-structured data and allows us to leverage BI and AI capabilities for better business decisions."

Terracon wanted to bring disparate data stored separately on multiple on-premise SQL Server Analysis Services cubes into a centralized and cloud based tabular data model, providing access to over 2,000 employees and consultants via real-time reports and dynamic dashboards.

CloudMoyo developed a modern, cloud-based solution in which the pipeline was designed using Azure Data Factory as an orchestration tool to move data from on-premises source systems into a central Azure Data Lake.

"Our deep expertise in deploying tools like Snowflake on the Azure platform positions CloudMoyo as a strategic partner of choice for our customers by helping deliver scalable solutions and rapid time-to-value through intelligent data services and innovation at the intersection of cloud and AI.".
