Security News > 2020 > November > No Xmas office party? Missing infosec pals and colleagues? Want to listen to DJs who also happen to be cyber warriors?
Locked up indoors with nothing to do as the evenings draw closer? If lighthearted chats about cyber security are your thing, followed up by some banging dance tunes, then we have just the event - all in the name of charity, of course.
The Cyber House Party launched this summer with the inaugural shindig held on 3 June and the second on 29 October, pulling in a total of 750 attendees and raising £10,000 in donations.
The short online debates included "Hackers wear hoodies?", "Cyber Room 404" and "Opening Cyber doors".
The next one, a Christmas Party Special, is scheduled for 17 December and given that most office Xmas parties are off this year it will serve as a chance to chat with friends and colleagues, and maybe learn a bit too while raising money for good causes.
Music will be provided by DJs including Marc Avery, founder at Cyber Chain Alliance, Steve Millard, EMEA channel director at Snyk, and Trend Micro PR manager Funda Cizgenakad - but don't let that put you off.
