WannaCry and IoT: Vendors react (Help Net Security)

Among the organizations most gravely affected by the WannaCry ransomware was the UK National Health Service. According to The Sunday Times, 48 NHS organisations were hit, including about 30 hospital trusts, and as many as many as 70,000 NHS devices including computers, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners, blood-storage fridges, and theatre equipment may have been affected.
