New paper: "Physical Key Extraction Attacks on PCs," by Daniel Genkin, Lev Pachmanov, Itamar Pipman, Adi Shamir, and Eran Tromer. They recover keys acoustically, from the high-frequency "coil whine" from the circuits, from a distance of about ten meters. News article....
