Summary

An issue was discovered in Joomla! before 3.9.5. The "refresh list of helpsites" endpoint of com_users lacks access checks, allowing calls from unauthenticated users.

Description

Joomla! Core is prone to an access-bypass vulnerability. Attackers can exploit this issue to bypass security restrictions to perform unauthorized actions; this may aid in launching further attacks. Joomla! 3.2.0 through 3.9.4 are vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
