Neustar and Connected2Fiber announced their partnership to offer an automated, end-to-end, cloud-based platform for buying and selling connectivity services across a full ecosystem of trading partners through the integration of Neustar's Universal Ordering capabilities and Connected2Fiber's Configure, Price, and Quote offering. "There's a growing demand for network access and transport services brought on by the rise in adoption of enterprise cloud computing, new 5G backhaul demands, SD-WAN deployments, and edge computing. But new services are at risk of being bottlenecked by inefficient and ineffective processes for ordering off-net connectivity," stated Steve Leavitt, vice president of Ecosystem Development at Connected2Fiber.
Consolidated Communications announced it is partnering with Ciena to upgrade its wireline network to support new and emerging 5G services and applications. Juniper Networks and Türk Telekom have announced completion of a groundbreaking new technology and commercial partnership to accelerate innovation in support of the Open RAN 5G ecosystem. An exclusive global licensing agreement with Netsia, a subsidiary of Türk Telekom Group company Argela in the USA, to transfer its leading-edge Radio Intelligent Controller technology to Juniper, including related source code and patents plus exclusive rights to develop and sell products and solutions that integrate with RIC. Permanent transfer of technical domain experts from Netsia to Juniper in support of RIC's integration into Juniper's product portfolio, further strengthening Juniper's Open RAN and 5G expertise.

Agilysys announced the appointments of Ben Curtis as Managing Director, EMEA and Matthew Prosser as Senior Sales Director in EMEA. Facebook has filed legal action against two Chrome extension developers that the company said was scraping user profile data - including names and profile IDs - as well as other browser-related information. The two unnamed developers under the business name Oink and Stuff, developed Chrome malicious browser extensions, which actually contained hidden code "That functioned like spyware," alleges Facebook.
